Mother: Shadow of Injustice in the Main Program of Karama Human Rights Film Festival

Mother: Shadow of Injustice has been officially selected for the Main Program of the 17th Karama Human Rights Film Festival, which takes place in Amman, Jordan, from 27 November to 6 December 2026.

This year's theme, Power of Humanity, explores the fragile force that allows people to feel, to choose and to resist indifference. The film will screen free of charge at the festival's primary venue, the Royal Cultural Center in Amman. Supplementary screenings with partners such as universities, schools and refugee camps are planned, and will be confirmed at a later stage.

Mother: Shadow of Injustice is directed by Ibrahim Karatay and is a DotInk Cinema production, in co-production with Alchemic Film (NL) and Harald House (BE).
